Ohio Champions for Vaccines Launch-Same Mission, Expanded Purpose

We are excited to announce that Ohio Parents Advocating for Vaccines (PA4V) will be re-launching as Ohio Champions for Vaccines (OC4V)! We have chosen a new name to reflect the fact that we are inclusive to all individuals, agencies and organizations that support the mission, not just parents. OC4V members will collaborate with medical and public health groups, parents and caregivers, and other invested stakeholders to reduce barriers to vaccines, distribute accurate, science-based immunization information, and encourage evidence-based vaccine policy.

Many partnership organizations, providers and immunization stakeholders have been spreading the word about this coalition all week and we hope you will join the effort! As part of the relaunch, we are asking our members and immunization partners to participate in OC4V’s 5-Day Advocacy Challenge. The challenge has already begun but it’s not too late to join and help make a difference!

Take the OC4V Pledge!

Additionally, we also encourage you to follow OC4V’s Twitter page (@OhioC4V) and join our private Facebook group (www.facebook.com/groups/ohioc4v) for up-to-date resources and information.

Thank you in advance for sharing this will your partners, staff and colleagues. We look forward to our continued partnership in pro-vaccine advocacy!
