Ohio AAP Bike Helmet Application Is Officially Open Now-March 5th

The Ohio AAP is excited to share with you that the application for bike helmets as part of the Put a Lid On It! Bike Helmet Safety Program is now open. We know this past year was difficult for all, but thanks to the support of our partners, we are proud to continue this program and provide helmets to children across Ohio. Please see details on the application and other program activities below and share this information with others who may be interested.

 

Put a Lid on It! Bike Helmet Safety Awareness Activities

* The application for bike helmets is open and will remain open through 5:00 pm on March 5, 2021 

The Put A Lid On It program is partially funded by the Ohio AAP yearly golf outing. This year’s event is a themed Goofy Golf event, scheduled on Friday, May 14th at Royal American Links. The evening is filled with networking, golf, and fun activities that is open to all golf levels. To learn more or register your spot click here!

  • 2021 Application for Bike Helmets Open Now – March 5
  • Recipients of Bike Helmets Notified – March 26
  • Pick-up Method Confirmation Required – April 2
  • Helmet Distribution Day at ODOT – TBD
  • Bike Helmet Safety Awareness Month – May 2021
