Your Input is Needed on School Based Healthcare for Increasing Lead Screening Rates and Immunizations

The Medicaid All Managed Care Plan Team is solutioning for increasing lead screening rates and immunizations in children, and we have many options for intervention.  One option we have is partnering with School Centered Initiatives.  However, we would like to know how our Primary Care Providers feel about their patients using School Based Health Care.

School Based Health Care = Health centers located inside of schools; Point of care services delivered by providers who are not at your practice (labs, mobile care providers, etc.) to children at daycares and Headstart facilities.
