Help Families Catch Up On Their Vaccinations Now Through Ohio AAP’s Virtual MOBI & TIES Trainings

Maintaining well visits are essential for children and adolescents to receive timely vaccinations to support health and protect against vaccine preventable diseases. Unfortunately, we’ve seen families delay seeing their pediatricians and receiving necessary immunizations because of the pandemic. As schools are continuing to open more and more, it becomes more important than ever that students are up to date on their immunizations. In-person school is safer when all children are fully vaccinated. A recent article featured in the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians highlighted the importance of catching up children on their immunizations now before the back to school rush. Find out more by reading the article here.

Ohio AAP can help you catch children up on their immunizations through our virtual MOBI & TIES trainings! These trainings offer the same content as our traditional in-office trainings, but also add relevant COVID-19 information with a focus on provider and practice guidance for during and post-pandemic.

Please contact Lory Sheeran, Director of Immunization Programs at lwindland@ohioaap.org to request your training today!
